I was super excited to get my brand new top hat. We ordered this hat for my wedding. It is marvelous. It was stiff and rigid had a good weight the brim was just the right size. It fit well. I spent hours looking through hats on Amazon and I ordered a few and sent all the others back. Because this was the perfect hat.I followed the instructions, measured my head, and ordered a Large hat. However, it is way too small and is not wearable. Otherwise, it appears to be well made. Surprisingly, it came undamaged in a bag and not in a box.So i love the hat. It is good quality but i have an odd shaped head and it is not perfectly round. I invested in a hat stretcher which is to help with the oblonged head shape but it was another cost. I wear it all of the time to get it beoken in but it gives me a squished head ache due to the reshaping process of sweating and wearing will work faster then a stretcher. I got a 7 1/8 size but now i am thinking i should have done a size smaller because it is now too big as i reshape it. All in all still a good hat for driving a horse and carriage.I wanted something fun for my husband for a holiday gift. He is going to look adorable in this hat. It can go with a costume or, as a hat for when we go somewhere fancy.Perhaps the best quality you can get before going to leather / silkShades of Leon Russle and Slash.Didn’t follow instructions.Four seasons cool. "who are you suppose to be?" gets shut down with authority when what they really mean is where can i get one of those? stay cool my friend.
