First, the standard shipping was fast! The shoes is so pretty. Purple is my favorite color so the mauve was a good neutral alternative for me. The shoe seems to be very well made.That said, the Songfish is a slip-on style which means it has elastic on the inside sides of the shoe that connect to the tongue. The elastic is rigid so it does feel snug. I do not have a narrow foot and wide shoes tend to be a bit loose on me. I’m sure if I cut the elastic out, it would be fine but I’m not ready to do that. My toes don’t have wiggle room; the insole does not provide any cushion support. My only hope is that leather stretches and worse comes to worse, I cut the elastic.
